The DPO report is 60 to 70 pages divided into 5 basic sections as follows:
Macro Economics - Here the overall drivers of drilling and production activity are captured with statistics, charts and analysis.  This includes worldwide oil/gas supply and demand, inventories, commodity pricing, OPEC and non OPEC oil production and capacity, significant political changes, and trends impacting the overall market.
United States -  This section covers the rig and well activity for oil and gas in the US along with all drivers of this activity.  This includes drilling rig and well activity for exploration versus development, land versus offshore (shelf and deepwater), deviated (and horizontal) versus straight holes, new versus re-entry wells and depth categories.  Also, there is a discussion of the historical and forecasted well servicing and workover activity.  Total spending for wells servicing, drilling and completion is estimated for the current quarters and future years.  There are several pages of statistics capturing the past 5 years and presenting 5-year forecast.
Canada - Similar to the US section but on a smaller scale is the analysis of Canada.  It includes a discussion of the drivers for Canada's rig and well activity and tables of statistical showing 5 years of history and a 5-year forecast.
International - The drivers of rig and well activity for Latin America, Europe, Africa, Middle East and the Far East are capture in this section.  There is an international summary section, a regional summary section and a country by country analysis of all rig and well activity.  Major issues, projects and active operators are discussed.
China/Russian - The DPO also includes analysis of the activity in China and Russia.  Major issues, projects and active operators are discussed as well as a table of rigs and wells detailing offshore versus land activity.
